I’m very happy to say that I’ve released version 1.5 of Related Posts for WordPress today. This release has a lot of focus on how images are displayed and making the (re-)setup process smoother and faster. This version counts 64 commits, which might not seem like a lot but represents 14% of the total commits on this project.

WordPress Notification Manager
One of the things I see a lot when I log into someone’s WordPress website are notifications. I’ve logged into websites where I had to scroll down because notifications pushed the actual page content below the page-fold. I understand notifications are important and why we add them but does that mean they have to be in your face on every single page? I don’t think they should and that’s why I created WP Notification Manager.
WP Car Manager 1.1 update
A little less than a month ago I released a new WordPress plugin called WP Car Manager which let’s you to manage, list and sell your cars with WordPress. I have to say I was overwhelmed by the amount of response I got, I didn’t expect that at all! A lot of people loved the first version and many of them had feature requests straight away (which is awesome!). So today I launched the first update, version 1.1, which includes a lot of cool new functionality.

Amazon S3, Request Signing and PHP versions
Today I’ve released a complete rewrite of the Amazon S3 extension for Download Monitor. Amazon introduced version 4 of their Signature back in 2013 that required a different, more complicated and secure, way of signing the S3 requests. All currently existing regions would support the old (2) and new (4) signature but new regions would only support the new one (4).
