One of my favorite WordPress related events will happen in 20 days from today. It’s a ridiculously long streak of 24 one hour WordPress related presentation. You heard that right, 24 hours of WordPress presentation in succession. It’s the third edition of WordSesh and it’s going to be amazing.
What is WordSesh?
WordSesh is an one full day of free live WordPress presentations. WordSesh will take place on Saturday the 20th of December 2014 and starts at 00:00 UTC. As said there will be 24 presentations of one hour each so the event will end Sunday the 21st of December 2014, 00:00 UTC. Click here to find out what time WordSesh starts for you.
The goal of WordSesh
I asked Scott Basgaard, lead organizer of WordSesh, to describe WordSesh it’s goal in a few lines. This is what he said:
My main goal for WordSesh has always been to bring the WordPress community together in a fun way. It’s also probably the easiest way for us to share WordPress knowledge, through presentations, with those who aren’t able to attend WordCamps or other related events. Anyone can watch during or after the event and we try to pack in as much as we can in those 24 hours. The best part is that it’s free and I never see that changing for WordSesh.
It’s right here!
No need to travel, not far at least. WordSesh is a 100% online streamed event, so all you need to join the fun is a computer. Tune in whenever you want and leave whenever you want. No dressing up required (pj’s allowed), no awkward moment when you have to leave (or join) in the middle of a talk and no travel costs.
The speakers
This third edition of WordSesh again managed to get a great list of speakers and I’m very happy to announce that I’m also doing a talk at WordSesh. The full list of speakers is at the WordSesh website and a program with talks will be published soon.
Keep an eye on the WordSesh website for updates and put Saturday, December 20, 2014 in your agenda. Be sure to let everyone know if you’re attending, there are already 429 people that did! You should join us, it’s going to be awesome! 🙂
Nice! Can’t wait.
